    About HCU HYBRID ACADEMY...

REGISTRATION FOR THE SPRING 2027 SEMESTER WILL OPEN NOVEMBER 2026.

    Our Statement of Faith

We love and serve the Lord in Jesus' name.

HCU Hybrid Academy is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to loving God with all our heart, mind, and soul. We believe in one God who exists as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We recognize that there is a spiritual battle taking place. Because of this, we do not promote, believe in, or endorse anything that takes the focus away from God. We believe that God is our source of strength and healing, not objects or worldly things.

    Important to Note

Although we are a faith-based academy, we operate as an à la carte academy. This means you may choose only the classes that best fit your family. You will never be required to attend Bible classes or faith-based activities if you choose not to participate.

We identify as faith-based because we reserve the right to pray over meals, offer Bible classes, choir, and other faith-based opportunities for families who wish to participate. It's a way to include BOTH our brothers and sisters in christ as well as our nonbelievers.

Identifying as faith based allows us to exercise our right to offer bible based classes along with our non-bible based classes.

    We Are Inclusive

Everyone is welcomed at HCU Hybrid Academy.

Our community includes families from many different beliefs and backgrounds. We believe every family deserves to be treated with dignity, kindness, and respect.

We are also a beautiful blend of cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Together we have created an organic, healthy, respectful community where families genuinely care for and support one another.

    Our Mission

Our goal is to develop well-rounded, forward-thinking students who become productive members of society with a foundation of integrity, character, leadership, and a strong work ethic.

We are an inclusive academy that values bringing together people from all cultures and walks of life. We are committed to providing a diverse, welcoming, and safe environment where every student feels they belong

    .

    Key Features

    • Our PTA team coordinates and facilitates special events and field trips.

    • Students receive Class Completion Certificates at the end of each semester, provided attendance and class policies are met.

    • Every class provides weekly recaps for your homeschooling records.

    • Although we are a drop-off academy, there may be occasions when parent assistance is needed. We appreciate your flexibility and willingness to serve when needed.

    • We offer 3 parent lounges for parents who choose to remain in the building during academy hours.
        - 1 common area lounge
        - 1 preschool room lounge with toys and space for the parents who have babies.
        - 1 individual room lounge where it operates on 1st come, 1st served basis. This room is for parents who need to work in an environment where they need privacy as they work. For example, a remote therapist.

Parents are not permitted inside classrooms during instructional time.

    • We are an à la carte academy. Register for as many or as few classes as you would like.

    Teaching at HCU Hybrid Academy

To ensure the safety and success of our students and academy, a parent must be enrolled for at least one full semester before becoming eligible to teach.

    This policy allows:

    • Time to build relationships with students and other families.

    • An opportunity to observe and learn how our academy operates.

    • Additional safety for our students.

    • Stability by reducing mid-semester teacher turnover.

After joining HCU, we encourage every family to begin thinking about classes they may enjoy teaching in future semesters.

    Our No Drama Policy

One of the things that makes HCU Hybrid Academy so special is our community.

We have intentionally created a village where families support one another, encourage one another, and build lasting friendships. Our goal is to provide a loving, safe, engaging, respectful, and enjoyable learning environment for every child, parent, and teacher.

If the academy believes that atmosphere is being compromised in any way, we will address the situation immediately. Protecting the harmony of our community is a priority.

If you enjoy gossip, negativity, name-calling, sharing private information, or creating unnecessary conflict, HCU is not the right fit for your family.

Our families spend time together outside of academy hours. We plan field trips, organize play dates, support one another during difficult seasons, and celebrate life's victories together.

    We truly consider ourselves family.

There are no cliques here! We love on everyone HARD.

While every one has different personalities and interests, we expect our current families to welcome new families with open arms, and we encourage our new families to be open to receiving that love and support.

Together, we create the HCU experience.
